Playtime by the Pool

It was warm out there for a couple hours, so the kids got the hose out.

Annie Bicycling

Annie got out early (still in her jammies) to do some bicycling. Note - no training wheels.

Gymnastics Observation Day

Annie's Observation Day came around again. Tim did not make it to Zoe's on Tuesday, and Jen forgot the camera. Of note, but not in the picture: Annie did her first - ever kickover, and backbend. Also, i have to start brining a video camera. The lighting does not allow for good 'action' shots, and you can't get a good handle on the fact that it was a first - ever kickover in a still picture regardless of the lighting.

Max's Burger

If you know Max, you know it's hard to get him to eat a burger. If you know DuClaw, you know they have something for everyone. Like Dessert Sliders, the dessert that looks like a burger.

The HAT Run

I have a picture from the finish, but I can't find it. I don't look as happy as this picture from before the race start, or the one from one mile in to the 31 mile HAT run.

Annie's Observation Day

The older girls in the background have to hold each other up.


Here is Annie jumping. It is not really a trick in the gymnastics circles, but it is good for a warmup.

National Aquarium

We spent a little while at the National Aquarium Saturday.

Fitness

Zoe and Annie are non-traditional users of the stair master or whatever.

The Snowman

We got some good snowman snow; Jen and Annie made this snowman.

Cars

Annie came up with this scheme to move two cars at once. It was fairly efficient.

Snow!

The girls had a good time with the short-lived snow. Perhaps another batch tonight, we'll see.

Jen's New House

Jen made this ginger bread (actually graham cracker) house, and we took its picture before throwing it in the fire place. Time to clean up Christmas, you know.

The Jinglehorse

You can believe Yahoo, if you want to, and think a jinglehorse (you know, giddy up jinglehorse, pick up your feet) is a reindeer, but Zoe and Annie say it is a giraffe. Their students went on a field trip to ride the jinglehorse.

School for Pets

The girls put their new gymnastics mat to good use, turning in to the foundation for their school for pets.

Happy New Year

Zoe conducted the orchestra for the new year, while Tiny moved in to a new house and Annie celebrated with a bit of licorice.

Christmas Loot

There was a lot of loot to be had at Jen's parent's house. Annie got a new set of teeth, Zoe got a watch, and Annie almost escaped having her picture taken.

Christmas Cats

Two of the cats we gave to Jen's parents made themselves at home on Christmas. Heat Miser watched the stairs, while Sugar (or Cinnamon) decided to be a present.

Early Christmas

Well, we let the girls open some presents early. They got a gymnastics mat to share, which Annie guessed was an extra bed. Also some horses and other stuff from Tim's sister Darcy. And the girls used packing peanuts to make some snow.
