Sights while Kayaking

Stand up kayaks (or whatever they are called) look like fun, but I have not tried it yet.

This helicopter flew by every 10 minutes or so.

This girl was wearing a white dress and standing up while kayaking. Best plan? I don't know, but I can't rock a dress like that.

Kayaking Posse

Jessica was wise, and proud, to bring sunblock. The last adventure was without sunblock, and Jessica and I .... well, we think it's better if you bring (and use) sunblock.

Chris's son Ian.

Chris and Ian.

We also had one other guy, Dave, and his son Ryan. I did not get a good picture of those two.

Georgetown Run Treats

If you start your run here you can get free treats at the end. And excellent running companions of various speed and endurance levels. The kids can have treats, too.

Zoe's Birthday Party

Zoe had a second birthday party with a few friends.

This is the Poke Ball cake Jen made.

Max got a little blurry from too much cake.

Zoe, Chloe, Max, Annie, Alexa, and Ian take a look at Zoe's loot.

Kids Run Amuck

The kids run amuck does not post results, as they don't really try to figure out how long each kid takes. They do a good job of keeping the kids from running each other over by having four kids start at a time. Frequent companions Max and Chloe also came down to run, and Zoe's other classmate Bryce also ran.

The kids get ready for the start.

Zoe starts the race.

Zoe finishes the race. It was about a quarter mile, it did not take long.

Run Amuck

Tim did the Run Amuck today, along with Jason Andersen. And about 2,200 other people.
Results are posted here.

These two gals also ran, and had pretty distinctive outfits.

Tim at the finish. Jason is already done.

Zoe's cake

Jen made an ice cream cake for Zoe.

Here is the cake.

Zoe's birthday loot, part one

Zoe was happy to get a little bit of cash for her birthday.

Zoe was even MORE happy to receive Mary Poppins.

Annie helped with gift delivery.

Just like kids, this cat had more fun with the box than the actual gift. Of course, you can't expect a cat to fly a kite.

Lazy summer day

Heat miser was hanging around, watching the action.

Annie practiced hula hooping. (I think you can say it as a verb.)
