Picnic

After the walk, Annie took a little rest, then we all had sandwiches and cherries.

A Walk in the Woods

We went for a walk in the woods near Havre de Grace today. We saw a Slurpee in the wild! And a boat that appeared to be taking a nap! Not much else.

Anne's Field Day

Annie's events were-- get the ball, plunger race, and spoon and golf ball race. It was kind of hard to tell who won in the pre-K set.

Zoe's Field Day

Zoe had field day today. First, she participated in a lineup. I'm not sure what that is supposed to prepare the kids for. Or maybe they were playing Simon Says. Zoe also did balloon toss (no victory), sack race (team victory), and tug of war (one win, one loss). A good time in any case.

Two of the kittens playing in the famous doll house.

Kittens

The kittens are nearly ready to move out on their own. We have to get rid of them while they are still cute.

Story Time

Annie took some time to read a nap time story to her stuffed animals, and a few kittens.

All Hail Hail

Get it? It's a verb and a noun. We had a quick hail storm on the 14th. Of course, it's in the 80s today.

The Kittens

Jen has decided the kittens need to live here until they are 10 - 12 weeks old. They are currently 7 weeks old. The fluffy head one is called Heat Miser, the other orange ones are Sugar and Cinnamon, and the grey one is called Storm Cloud.

Anne Posing

Anne took the top one of these herself, I don't know who took the other one.

Zoe Practicing

The folks at Diamond Dance Center set Zoe up with a CD of the music for her recital. She likes to use the music to practice. Big show on the 18th of June, let me know if you want to go and I'll get you a ticket.

The birthday list

Tim's birthday list (below, somewhere) now has helpful links so you can figure which Mitsubishi Evolution to get.

Annie's Events

Annie did pretty well at the Olympics. As mentioned below, she got a gold medal. She "competed" in: bean bag toss, bean bag walk with bean bag on hand, bean bag walk with bean bag on head, run, gallop, skip, and obstacle course.

I have to say the school was a model of efficiency. In less time than it took the Chinese to do their opening ceremony, the whole olympics was over and the kids were on their way home.

Olympics Ceremonies

Annie's class had Pee Wee Olympics today (14 May). It was fun to watch. Annie got a gold medal. As did every other kid.

Frederick Marathon

Tim finished the Federick Marathon. You might be able to make out the time on the clock.

The Fair

Here we are at the fair. Annie is throwing well. Zoe is sad because she hurt her hand and could not climb on the stuff. You can guess who likes going fast in circles by looking at one of these.

Parade

Here we are at the Dublin parade. Zoe and Annie chose not to march this year because it rained last year, and they did not want to jinx it.

Cake

Annie likes to make a cake with the leftover pancake batter. This one came out better than most, but we forgot to bring it to Eric's house.
