The Show

Zoe's first show, and the premiere of her new leotard she got for her birthday. Also, a demotion of the tap shoes to play clothes.

Rehearsal

Zoe has started to do music production and choreography. Here Zoe and Annie are working on the music for a dancing show.

Zoe's Birthday, take 2

Zoe is going to have four birthday parties this year. This is some scenes from the second one. Zoe is showing of her ca$h money, and her leotard. Annie is being grumpy.

Playtime

Annie was teaching the foam dinosaurs something, while Zoe was preparing the next lesson from the computer. Hopefully she is not going to tell the dinosaurs they are extinct. Well, except for those mySpace users.

Kittens

These kittens were found in the garage. Then they moved out. And then back in.

Squirrel

This squirrel also took a peek in a window recently, looking for an apple slice.

Visitor

This bat came to visit while Tim was away.

Bunny in the Garage

This bunny was hanging around in the garage when we got back from Zoe's school celebration.

End of Year Celebration

Well kids do not graduate from 1st grade any more. But they do have an end of year celebration. Zoe showed us her chair, and various things she had put around the class room and in the hall.

Anne was not very excited about Zoe reaching the end of first grade.

Annie Graduating

Annie graduated from Dance Basics. At Dance Basics the kids do not learn a whole routine, so they do not do a recital. They do learn all sorts of basic movements that will come in handy later and show off these skills at the end of the year at a beach party. Zoe was not all that impressed.

It is the end of the year at Annie's dancing school, so the kids got to show off their tricks.

Annie guarded Max and Chloe's car so they could not sneak away.

William

This is the new cat Jen caught in the garage. His name is William. Annie chose the name, with some help from Zoe.

Annie the Doctor

Annie had a doctor's office for a while. Tim got a band-aid for a hurt toe, which cost about $1.83. Jen had a runny nose, and Anne dispensed a tissue for about $8.00.

Zoe spent some time blowing bubbles.

Hiding

Zoe tried to keep Annie from being photographed. Annie was able to get in a picture eventually.

The Bunny

This is the bunny whose birthday was celebrated so thoroughly.

Boat Adventures

The telescopes were a popular party favor. But they also caused controversy because 1) they were not waterproof, and 2) they were all the same, so there was some arguing about which one belonged to which kid and so on.

Pool Time

Zoe is riding a whale, while most of the other kids are feeding a swan. Max is in the boat.

A Scowl

Zoe gave Jen this high-quality scowl.

Pinata Aftermath

The pinata was finally opened with a blow by Chloe. Switching from a plastic bat to a metal rod sped things up, but increased the risk factor a bit. It was one tough pinata.

Friends from School or something

Chris and Kate are the parents of Alexa and Ian. Alexa is in Zoe's class, and Ian will probably end up in Annie's class. Chris brought most of the food to the party.
