We found some ponies on Assateague Island, and the girls got to feed them. I don't know how useful it is to walk two steps ahead of the pony and pick up the grass it is about to eat and hand it to the pony, but that scheme worked for the kids.
Annie also had a good time on the beach, and got pretty wet in the waves. And then cold. And then went back for a change of clothes, and stayed dry. Not becuase she knew any better, but because Jen kept her away from the water.
Jen's mom is involved in a research project of sorts which is looking in to why kids are heavier than they used to be. Could it be the new, improved cookies she is handing out? Or the cupcakes. Further research is required. Tim ate some cupcakes in the name of science. And some cookies. Results are inconclusive.
